Economic & Business 2024 Conference Closes

As I reflect on the first Timor-Leste—Australia Economic & Business Conference in Dili, I would like to thank everyone who committed time to travel from Australia. The response tells me we are on the right path.

I hope you found it informative and thought-provoking and now feel inspired to take the next steps to establish a business here. I will not suggest it is an easy journey, but in my experience, those who put in the time and commit to the long haul will succeed.

This event has been a great success, and thanks are due to everyone whose hard work has made it a reality: Ambassador Caitlin Wilson, Rachel Jolly, Elise Schuster, Thomas Wooden, others at the Australian Embassy in Timor-Leste, the Prosivu team, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Timor-Leste (CCITL), and the many others who helped behind the scenes. I look forward to 2025!
